Our celebrations in addition to being a form of diversion and relaxation,they also must be a form to conserve and to promote our culture and traditions. On the other hand, men and women of Guardamar are the true protagonists of the celebrations; since they are the really supporters of these celebrations .

Also we must consider, that in these celebrations, the tourist people must take part in them, reason why they must be active part in their promotion and planning .

By these reasons, from this council, we want to support the local celebration by means of the dowry of more means and spaces for the different festeras associations. We want that, the existing coordination between these associations and the council at the time of planning and carrying out the different festeros programs be greater, and to take advantage of this fact in benefit of all those who want to participate .

Another important section, consists of the care and promotion of the popular celebrations of the locality, as the Fogueres de Sant Joan, Holy Week ( Easter), and country side of Guardamar. To support and to protect these celebrations is the same as taking care of of our patrimony and our identity .
