The environment is landscape, pleasant surroundings, tourist supply, but mainly quality of life. One of the main characteristics that they define to Guardamar is the one of being a population with great wealth of environmental patrimony .

This patrimony has been inherited by us and we must leave it in the best conditions to the coming generations .

For this reason all the performances of this Department go directed towards the improvement and conservation of that patrimony, allowing their use and benefit .

One of the performances that worry to the Council about environmnet consists of the recovery of the Coastal Moon Cord, at the moment in danger .

This Council also bet for the directed environmental education towards all the public. We understand that these campaigns of education can sensitize everybody .

And we cannot forget, the support of this department to all the measures for cleaning the Segura river.
