In our town and our region the insecurity is one of the great problems that we are suffering, and its solution passes through an increase of means and members of the Guardia Civil and the specialized Policia Nacional, that from this Council we have already demanded in successive meetings, like the maintained one recently with the Delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community .

We have already made these requests to the competent organisms and from this Council we know clearly that they also must improve means,as human as material ones, of our Local Police. We understand that these number of officers must increase year after year. But not only about people also in relation to better technical means. We take for granted that we have to invest much more in an a subject like this one since it is of huge importance for all the citizens.

Another subject we are concerned about within this section, in which we are making a great effort, is the one of the prevention of catastrophes;this is why there is a creation and beginning of a Plan of Citizen Security, that makes possible for the police members, firemen, civil defense, sanitary services, etc.to react with the greatest effectiveness.

All in all, this Council is positive in order to stop with the sensation of insecurity we live in our town, and the beginning of agreed services of security with the necessities of it.
