QUIZ
BASIS:
1) PARTICIPANTS.Everybody
can take part in this quiz with their own artist works.Two
works per person at the most.
2) SUBJECT.The subject
will be free but related to the symbolism of these feasts.It
must appear Christian and Moorish symbols.The works
have to be original and not prize-winning before.Any
copied work will be disqualified.
3) INSCRIPTION.The
inscription on the cover can be in Valencian or in Spanish.Its
desing and the type of letter will be under the artist´s
free choice.
4) FORMAT. The design
of the poster will be vertical and 50* 70 cm size without
margin.The writings on the poster will be 1.5 cm at
least from the margins .The technic for its design will
be of free choice but with no difficulties for its elaboration
offset ( golden and silver inks will be rejected ).They
can be done on frame or panel with the size said above
for makin easy its display.
5) DISPATCH.The posters
will be delivered in person or registered to the House
of Culture ( 60,Colón St. 03140 Guardamar del
Segura- Alicante).The posters will not be signed and
the slogan will be written on the back .Besides a closed
envelop, indicating name,surname ,address and phone
of the author, is needed.The main envelope must indicate:
“ To the Christian and Moorish 2005 poster
quiz”.
6) TIME FOR REGISTERING.It
will finished on 30th April,2005 at 8.00 pm.
7) REWARD.The quiz
will be rewarded with 750 Euros and a trophy for the
winner.And a trophy for the other two finalists.
8) JURY. The Jury will
becomposed by the president of the Chrisitna and Moorish
Central Committe and for other qualifeid people.The
Jury will choose the works under the basis above.
9) SENTENCE.The sentence
of the Jury will be Published on Saturday 7th May,2005
without appeal.The Jury will be able to state the prize
void if they think that the works are not good enough.
10) DISPLAY.With all
the Works it will be an exhibition of all of them in
the House of Culture during two weeks in May.
11) GENERAL CONDITIONS.The
chosen poster will be owned by the Christian and Moorish
central committe that will reserv the right of using
it.The winner poster will advertise Guardamar´s
feasts,as on the walls as in hand programmes.The poster
will show the City Council , the Christian and Moorish
and UNDEF shields.
12) AWARDS.They will
be during the feasts of 2005.The date will be previously
said to the winners.
13) DEVOLUTION.The
rest of the Works will be returned to their owners after
the exhibition and in 60 days.If they are not asked
within the period, they will be taken by the Christian
and Moorish Central Committee.
The Christian and Moorish Central
Committe of Guardamar is not responsible for any damage
of the works.
The participants will accept
the full basis.
If there is any issue not refelcted
on the basis it will be solved by the Jury.
