The Communication
Area co-ordinates and makes easy the City Council information
to the social mass media.It cares for the image of the
institution and it also gives advice and negotiates
the publicity to spread the activities of the town council.
This Area offers to the media a constant
information ,which is necessary to make it transparent
from the institution.To carry out this relation with
the media different types of information are used: press:
notes to inform about the celebration of punctual events;
press release: that offers information about different
news of everybody interest ;press conference: when the
physical presence of the journalists is required to
inform about an event or important fact; declarations;
interviews;etc.
Functions:
- Press relations:
It is about to keep in touch with the mass media
( press,Internet,radio and /or TV.)to spread from
them the interesting information for all the citizens
to be known.The Communication Area cares a lot its
relations with the media with honesty and transparecence
.
- Advertising campaign design:
It is about to release specific aspects of a service
for the citizen utility for a better use of itself.
- Internal communication
policy: It is about
to design the communications between unities and
members of the same organization,to let that the
public service staff know the strategic and operative
objectives of the service .
- Co-ordination of the local
web contents in which the interesting news
are offered.
The point is to make
from the Town Council a reliable and approachable information
source for all the media and all the citizens,from which
they will always be replied. |
