The Network of Agencies for the Development of Commercial Initiatives is a medium through which the Valencian Regional Government and the Town Hall of Guardamar set about the tasks of modernising and organising local trade and business.
What does the AFIC Network do?
- It brings business administration process closer to its users, coordinating the relationship between business sector traders and local and regional authorities.
- It strives to provide an organised and competitive business approach within the town
- It increases the potential of traditional shopping centres, making them work on a more town centre management system
- It facilitates access to technical information aimed specifically at business sector distributors with the use of I.T. and telematics available for the purpose
- It participates in studies carried out to assess the situation of local commerce identifying social, economic and town planning factors which affect its progress
- It makes performance proposals on strategies and investments for development not only in local business ideas and initiatives but also in collaborative and collective projects
- It carries out promotional activities to create a dynamic local business community
- It also gets involved in other projects and initiatives which contribute to the effective running and modernising of the business sector as a whole. Initiatives such as attracting or creating business opportunities within the local community which will result in the improvement in the quality of life of locals and will increase the appeal of the local environmen
