If
you like sports,in Guardamar you will be able to practice
all the sea sports such as: Sailing,Windsurf,Sea Ski,Scuba-Diving,Canoening,Sea
motorbike,etc in the habilities of the Marina de las
Dunas Sea Port.It has 498 mooring points and it is located
at the mouth of the river.
GuardAmar del Segura relies on a big sport infrastructure,as
“Las Rabosas” Sport Centre and the Local
Sport Centre.They both have splendid habilities with
swimming pool,three football fields,basketball pitches,salon-football,tennis
court,pelota court,covered pitch and a 25cm covered
heated pool.
Of course you will also enjoy from
golf.The closest pitch is in the Marquesa field (
18 holes).There are also three others fields located
no more than 20 kms far.
Guardmar is an ideal place for practising
path-walking and biketourism through the dunes,the
pine woods and the vegetable garden.
The Alfonso XIII and Reina Sofia parks offer big possibilities:
Pine woods with dunes,ponds,forest pathwalks and bridges.The
Reina Sofia park relies on with an Arabic Garden that
reproduces the arabic garden tradition.
It also has a stage for concerts.For the sunny winter
mornings as for the warm summer nights.They are perfect
places for seeing and hearing as the time goes by.
